    Autumn it is...

Not much interesting to write about. Last weekend, I made it to the Michigan Renaissance Festival for the closing weekend. My Ontario Ren Fest employer also has a shop there, so I was there with a couple of the Ontario crew who are now doing that show, and a few new ren-friends. Earned my meals, spent more than I should have on shopping, and got sad all over to see what Trillingham would never become, *sigh*. Hollygrove is a really built up village. More American and a bit more commercial than our remaining small faires in this area, but a nice show. It looks like a small town of these quirky cottages that one could move in to - except local bylaws don't even allow shop owners to stay in their booths.

Coming back to work, this was the first 5-day week in a while and it was loooooong. I've been sick for a week, too (the whole Michigan weekend) and am still sniffling. If only I didn't need this job to support my hobbies and habits... like shelter and food.

Good night. Off to take cold medicine and try to sleep.
