    Helloooo, Backside.

Well, that was a humbling experience.

I thought I'd pick up some training, advance a bit... take my workouts up a notch.

I'm going to have to take them up a pretty damn big gap, that's for sure. I just attended a jam-packed weekend of training for RPM, the Les Mills Indoor Cycle program that my gym offers. I've taught Cycle for a few years. I can do this, thinks me. No problem, new stuff to memorize, LMI has a bit of "culture" to it where we all have to say and do the right things, but it's a good workout.

Holy crap, my head and my legs were ready to explode. I was trailing the pack by a looooong way. I usually feel like I'm in pretty good shape for a fat girl, but I climbed a mountain this past weekend and there's a bigger one ahead. By the end of the weekend, we had spent 16 hours in class and at least 6 of that was riding, relatively hard, on the studio bikes. The good news is no one failed, but wow, that 16 hours is really just the start.

I have to say, for gym training, it was a pretty top notch program, though. And I'm slightly encouraged by the fact that I was not as entirely crippled as I thought I would be this morning, only generally muscle-fatigued.

Ride hard - I will be!
