Maui's having surgery at 2. We were down to "he'll die soon, or we open him up to see if it's fixable". He's been at the vet since yesterday morning again, on IV because he can't eat or drink. Dr. Bonnie left a message at 12:45 that the surgeon would be in at 2, did I want to go ahead.
It's risky and might not help, but I can't really say no, as it seems he's close to the end without it.
This is the worst part of caring for little lives like his.
