So, if you didn't hear, we're off on a vacation this Friday, for the next week and a bit. Wandering through New York State for a few days, B&B'ing in the Finger Lakes, visiting friends in Hudson Valley, then a few days in Manhattan with Adam's cousin.
In spite of the looming course deadline, I'm looking forward to this. I had a plan - cram the 2nd last assignment in tonight and tomorrow before we go, take my book along to noodle out rough notes for the last assignment, and crunch when I got back.
Well, Murphy's Law, section 81 article 426, has come into play and my PC, while not completely dead, is lapsing in and out of a coma the last few days, has bedsores and pneumonia and probably impending multiple organ failure. It doesn't seem to be anything that can be addressed by fidgeting with anyone component, and I'm guessing that it's the mainboard flaking out.
So a new goal was added to the New York destination: Apple Store, Fifth Avenue.
